Slap bang in the centre of the bustling market town of Kendal, tucked away down a secret alley hides Yard 46.  A welcoming open fire downstairs, a light and bright dining space upstairs and an outdoor courtyard, complete with a wood-fired oven, there is something for all.  Serving brunch made with our fresh, baked in-house bread, award winning coffee and homemade cake, alongside a unique lunch menu, Yard 46 style is friendly, fun and relaxed.  Opening occasional weekends in the evening or hire us for private functions, pop in and see what we can do for you.

      Great little cafe. Sat in the courtyard on a gorgeous sunny day. Sweet potato soup was amazingly tasty. And the day breakfast ciabatta with duck egg was phenomenal. Great find. Thoroughly recommended.
